Saudi cement producer, Umm Al-Qura Cement Co has posted a 55 per cent fall in net profit during the 1H22 owing to lower cement sales, compared to the 1H21. Profits in the first half dropped from SAR49m (US$13m) in the same period last year to SR22m (US$5.9m), according to a bourse filing. Umm Al-Qura Cement sees 15% drop in 2018 revenues

Umm Al-Qura Cement Co reported a fall in sales of -14.9 per cent to SAR164.4m (US$43.8m) in 2018 when compared to sales of SAR193.2m in 2017. Total profit decreased by 32.3 per cent from SAR71.9m in 2017 to SAR49.6m in 2018 while net profit after zakat and tax declined 84.6 per cent to SAR10m in 2018 when compared with SAR65.6m in the year-ago period.

Saudi Arabia-based Umm Al Qura Cement Co (UACC) has seen its profit drop 97.6 per cent YoY in the second quarter of 2018, falling to SAR199,600 (US$53,226) from SAR8.4m. Umm Al Qura Cement announces fall in net profit

Saudi Arabia’s Umm Al Qura Cement Co has announced a 40 per cent YoY fall in net profit for the first quarter of 2018, decreasing to SAR10.2m (US$2.72m) from SAR17m, according to Reuters. However, revenue has increased 9.3 per cent to SAR56.5m, compared to SAR51.7m of the year-ago period.

Umm Al-Qura Cement Co saw its full-year net loss narrow in 2015 to SAR24.07m compared to a net loss of SAR28m a year earlier. Operating losses were also down to SAR21.96m, compared to SAR27.12m in 2014. However, the Riyadh-based company reported net loss for 4Q15 of SAR10m, versus a net loss of SAR3.72m in the same period a year earlier.
